Fresh Fish Report

Our daily Fresh Fish Report & Seafood Market items are hand picked by our very own seafood specialist who travels from dock to dock for the freshest selection of what the local fisherman and specialty purveyors in the north have just brought in.

Sea What's Going On

Our Florida Fishing Report area contains everything you need to know about fish as well as some of our most requested recipes! Sea for your self!

We were able to get a reservation on Good Friday for 6;30 p.m. Seated promptly. Service was a tad slow, but waitress was very professional and the place was packed. Had the fish dip spread for an appetizer. Basic, but very good. My wife had the mahi and I had monkfish served like poor man’s lobster. Totally awesome!!! These guys know how to handle fish. Reasonably priced. We’ll be back. Also, have a fish counter – we did not buy anything, but everything looked fresh and ready to roll.

This moderately priced seafood restaurant did not disappoint. It doesn’t open until 4:00 pm, but for dinner this was the place to be. Apps run around $8-$10, mixed drinks run $8-$9, most dinners were from $15 to as high as around $35. Meals come with a seasonal vegetable, choice of potato and salad. Bread is also served for the table. Service was quite good. Blake was personable, knowledgeable about the menu, prompt, and we were impressed that he never wrote any of our ordering down. Everything came just as ordered. It was clear from watching the service around us as well that this is a professional staff that takes pride in providing good service, which has become somewhat of a hit or miss these days. As for my Swordfish Rockefeller, it was grilled perfectly with a wonderful spinach artichoke parm topping. There were nothing but empty plates left in front of all of us. We enjoyed the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere throughout our dinner and I could say we would all recommend you give this place a try

Aim to Please!

Long day…. needed a minute to unwind. Quick stop at a local staple in town for a cocktail – The Prawnbroker it is!! I wasn’t up to a dining event so I made a quick left turn into the bar after entering the restaurant. I was quickly greeted by the staff which I soon found out was a lovely lady by the name of Ashley. Within minutes I was greeted by two other members of the bar team as well (Walter and Matthew I believe) …. they were all very pleasant!! As I enjoyed my cocktail I began to notice an amazing partnership displayed by that team. It was quite pleasing and it continued throughout the entire length of my stay. Hopefully they are always there when I come to visit. Yes, I stayed longer than anticipated but as you can tell from my experience it was worth it. Eventually my stomach began to rumble so I needed to do something about that (LOL). I ordered the Prawnbroker shrimp which I felt was excellent! Yup, still hungry so I began to ponder on some apps and was pleasantly surprised to know that they offer an extra romanoff or clam casino if you felt the need (small upcharge). This good to know especially when one’s stomach is rumbling.
My experience was great all around and definitely makes my decision to return more than probable. They aim to please!!

Fort Myers Gem

A group of 10 close friends recently visited Prawnbrokers, and we all had a great meal with fabulous service. Large groups can be a challenge, but Matt and Lizz were amazing. Our apps, drinks and meals were all delivered promptly and accurately. The food was delicious as always. We can’t wait to go back to this venerable Fort Myers gem..
